Sin noMbre

Plot:
Latino street gangs (Mara Salvatrucha MS-13)... latin American migrants train journey to USA...
Love, Friendship, Heartbreak, Violence, Betrayal, Tragedy... guaranteed.

Story is strong though not the most original.

fucken great cinematography and direction!!
A debut film??.. wow... well done writer/director Cary Joji Fukunaga

Beautiful and talented cast too... young, relatively unknowns putting in good performances... esp Paulina Gaitan and young Kristyan Ferrer as "Smiley" (below, right)

and that gorgeous Diana Garcia scene... hmmm (still looking for visuals of it.. only one so far below)

The Village Barbershop

Simple script... but surprisingly good... esp the cinematography, acting and soundtrack.

great features on the DVD too - history of "barber" and Reno "the world's biggest little city" (so fucken Amrerican but works sometimes...kekeke)
